Tony Tirado And The Men's 4x400 Meter Relay Advance To Saturday's Final At 4:50 pm (ET)

GENEVA, Ohio – What a way to conclude day one!

The Blue Streaks have arrived for championship racing as they headed to Spire Institute for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The only event on the schedule today was the men's 4x400 meter relay preliminary rounds.

The team of Tyler Gast, Dustin Horner, Tony Tirado, and Basheer Alramahi would secure a fifth place overall finish with a time of 3:11.62 to move on to Saturday's final.

They would place third overall in the first heat of the event, which would help get their time into the final after just missing out on the top two.

Gast, Horner, Tirado, and Alramahi will return to the track on Saturday, May 24th for the Men's 4x400 Meter Relay final at 3:50 pm (ET).

Tomorrow, Basheer Alramahi will be making his third consecutive outdoor 400 meter dash appearance in the preliminary rounds at 3:00 pm (ET).
