Leading the way for the Blue Streaks and earning his first individual conference championship was junior Nate Julien, who crossed the finish line with a time of 25:20.3. Julien would go on to win the NCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year.

Following right behind were both Sam Su (25:21.7) and Ian Paul (25:23.8) placing second and third overall, capturing First-Team All-NCAC honors and sweeping the top three spots for JCU.

In his cross country championship debut, Charlie Payne stepped up and placed seventh overall with a time of 25:46.2 to also earn First-Team All-NCAC honors, as well as being named the NCAC Newcomer of the Year award.

Finishing in 11th place overall was junior Phil Coury, who was named on the Second-Team All-NCAC honor list finishing with a time of 25:55.7 to round up the scoring for the Blue Streaks.

That wasn't the end for John Carroll. Three runners including Chuck Reigrut (26:14.2), Joey Naiman (26:14.3), and Brian Standley (26:20.3) all earned Third-Team All-NCAC honors to help bring more of that momentum to the team finish.

Steve Fuelling, Head Cross Country & Assistant Track & Field Coach at John Carroll University was very pleased with today's performance from the guys.

"The men had a great day from top to bottom," Fuelling emphasized. "The way they responded after a tough outing at our previous meet says a lot about the group and overall program."

Fuelling, as well as Daniel Tutskey (Director of Cross Country/Track & Field) and Jamie Dailey (Assistant Cross Country/Track & Field Coach) were named the NCAC Coaching Staff of the Year with the championship win.
This is now the fifth-straight conference championship victory for the men, dating back to 2021 and being a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference.

It was an exciting and tremendous day for the Blue Streaks as they will now look forward to their next opportunity.
