Men’s Cross Country Ranked Second In NCAC Pre-Championships Poll

Men's Cross Country Ranked Second Ahead Of NCAC Conference Championships
CLEVELAND – As championship racing approaches for the Blue Streaks, the team is ready to embrace the opportunity of competing in a new conference. 

The men's cross country team enters the 2025 NCAC Conference Championships landing at second in the pre-championships poll with 71 total points and two first place votes.

Sitting atop of the poll is Kenyon College with 79 total points and seven first place votes. Denison rounds up the top three selected third with 61 total points.

Finishing out the rest of the conference is Oberlin (57), Depauw (47), Wabash (36), Wooster (27), Ohio Wesleyan (17), and Wittenberg (10).

JCU is coming off of a fifth place finish at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, finishing with 184 points a couple of weeks ago on October 18th. 

Led by coaches Steve Fuelling and Jamie Dailey, the Blue Streaks will look to rebound and make a statement at the conference championships this Saturday, November 1st hosted by Kenyon College. 

The men's championship 8k race is set to start at 11:00 am. Meet previews to come in the next few days.
