Box Score ALLEGHENY – Since returning from Spring Break, all John Carroll Men's Tennis has done is win.

The Blue Streaks are now winners of three in a row after conquering the Allegheny Gators on the road on Sunday.

John Carroll returned home from Allegheny's Tennis Courts at Robertson with a 6-3 non-conference win.

Taking two out of three in doubles made a big difference. Dylan Westmeyer and Griffin Millspaugh notched an 8-4 decision at No. 2, while Anthony Markello and Phillip Gorun eked out an 8-6 conquest at No. 3. Logan Langovsky and Grant Sarnowski fell short at the top spot, 8-2.

Langovsky and Sarnowski also came up on the losing end in the top two spots in singles play. However, both matches were all out wars. Langovsky lost by a score of 6-1, 4-6, 3-6. Sarnowski's match finished at 6-2, 6-7 (5), 5-10.

But the bottom four spots in the singles lineup belonged to the Ble Streaks.

Markello cruised at No. 3 (6-1, 6-0) as did Gorun at No. 4 (6-3, 6-1) and Westmeyer (6-3, 6-1) at No. 6. Those wins were enough to clinch the team win.

Millspaugh's junior year surge continued today, as the Marketing major overcame an early hole to win a thriller with a score of 6-7 (10), 6-1, 10-7.

The Blue Streaks' next scheduled match is slated for Saturday, April 6. JCU will head to Capital for an OAC contest.
