Men's Tennis Clips Cardinals in Saturday Road Match

Box Score WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- John Carroll Univrsity Men's Tennis served up a win on the road against the Otterbein Cardinals on Saturday.

It was a commanding performance, only losing a single match and taking care of business in the doubles. 

Logan Langovsky held the No. 2 singles spot for the Blue Streaks and defeated Connor Radune 6-1, 6-2. Unfortunately, No. 2 singles player Andy Siciliano had an off day and fell to Brandon Wall 6-3, 6-1.

The singles match of the day was the fourth match of Grant Sarnowski vs. Tom Ohler. Grant Sarnowski defeated Tom Ohler 6-7, (8-10), 6-3, 1-0, (10-6) in a closely contested battle. 

Mark Beebe won a 6-4, 6-4 contest at No. 3 singles, Andrew Triner won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 5, and Adi Jha bested his foe, 6-3, 6-3

Mark Beebe and Andy Sicilliano paired up in the doubles and kept the ball rolling for the Blue Streaks by defeating Brandon Wall/ Jared Deel 8-4. Langovsky and Sarnowski worked for a win at No. 2 doubles, 8-3. Doug Moore and Andrew Triner also earned a conquest, 8-6. 

The Blue Streaks (2-0) will be back in action after Easter Break. They take on Ohio Northern on April 10 in the first home match of the year.
