Box Score John Carroll swept doubles to kick start a dominating effort in an 8-1 road win over Otterbein this afternoon in Westerville, Ohio

All three matches were played tightly, but the Blue Streaks prevailed in all of them. In the #1 match, Jad Abdul-Aal and David Sinense outlasted David Seckel and Will Willson, 8-6. The #2 team of Tyler Cole and Nick Siciliano as well as the #3 team of Scott Adsit and Dillon O'Brien won by identical 8-5 scores.

JCU then kicked in the afterburners in singles play. Abdul-Aal continued his impressive spring with a 6-0 6-0 win over Wilson at #1 singles. David Sinsense had to go the extra mile to win  0-6 7-6 (7-4) 12-10 at #2 singles over Seckel.

Siciliano, Cole and Adsit won in straight sets at #4, #5 and 6 singles respectively.

With its seventh consecutive victory, John Carroll improved to 8-6 overall and 5-0 in the OAC, while Otterbein dropped to 9-7, 3-2 OAC.

JCU is tied for first place in the OAC with Baldwin Wallace at 5-0.
