The Blue Streaks performed solidly over the course of the weekend

VIENNA, Ohio – As the hosts of the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, John Carroll Women's Golf performed well.

Mother Nature saved the best for last, as the third round proved to be beautiful at Squaw Creek at Avalon Golf & Country Club in Vienna, Ohio.

The Blue Streaks solidified a finish of fifth place with a team tally of 340 for the third round, identical to the second round. JCU finished with a final line of 348-340-340-1028.

Final Results

Julia Gulla saved the best for last on Sunday. The Sagamore Hills native thrived on the front nine, pocketing an impressive pair of birdies on Par 3 holes on No. 3 and 6. The Nordonia grad headed into the back nine with a three-over-par score. Her back nine was even better, with three strokes to begin and then hitting a great birdie on No. 15. Gulla's score of 77 marked her best round of the weekend. Tying for sixth, Gulla just missed out on all-tournament honors.

Kyah Huckleberry excelled on the front nine, achieving par on an impeccable eight of nine holes for a two-over-par tally. Nice putting helped Huckleberry finish well down the stretch. The first year posted her best round of the weekend, nabbing an 83 (+11), a very nice score. She tied for 19th for the weekend.

Lauren Roof also began with a seven-over-par score on the first nine, hitting par on three straight holes from No. 2-4. Registering a par on three of the final five holes, the Magnificat grad snagged a 90 for the final round, winding up in a tie with Huckleberry.

Hannah Prince tabbed a seven-over-par mark on the front nine, highlighted by a great birdie on the Par 5 fifth hole. She netted a par hole on No. 15 to highlight her back nine, finishing with a mark of 90. She completed the weekend in 25th.

Meredith Thompson scuffled some before picking it up a bit on the back nine. The Erie native concluded her round with a par, ending the round with a 94, tying for 27th for the event.
