The host Blue Streaks are hoping to make some noise in the new conference

VIENNA, Ohio – John Carroll Women's Golf is sending a strong quintuplet of players an hour south for the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.

The Blue Streaks have enjoyed a great season with a fresh influx of talent. JCU Women's Golf is hoping to make a splash in its first season as a member of the NCAC. The three-day event is set for Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3 at Squaw Creek at Avalon Golf and Country Club.

Four of JCU's five players are first years, so the Blue Streaks will need to navigate the ups and downs that come from competing for the first time on the conference stage. But the young JCU squad has performed well historically speaking.

Coming into the tournament, JCU has been picked fifth in the preseason coaches poll.
