Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Finishes 15th Overall For 2024-2025 Al Carius Program Of The Year Award
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The John Carroll Men's Cross Country/Track & Field program was well-represented on the national stage this 2024-2025 season.

The USTFCCCA announced this afternoon the final standings of the 2024-2025 Al Carius Program of the Year for their team finishes in the three seasons including cross country, indoor, and outdoor track & field.

Ultimately, this put the Blue Streaks to finishing 15th overall for their efforts at the national championship meets.

2024-2025 Final Standings

The point system is based on your team's finish from all three of those seasons. The team with the lowest score wins the award.

University of Wisconsin-La Crosse would secure the 2024-2025 Al Carius Program of the Year award for winning national championships in all three seasons.

Lynchburg finished second overall, recording a total of 23 points, followed by University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with 36 points.

The Blue Streaks would score a total of 91 points to place in the top 15 among all of Division III.

Men's cross country earned a 30th place finish, indoor track & field would place 25th, and outdoor track & field placed 30th overall.

At the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the men earned All-American honors in every event they qualified in including Basheer Alramahi in the 400 meter dash and the 4x400 meter relay of Tyler Gast, Tony tirado, Dustin Horner, and Basheer Alramahi

Basheer would also earn a runner up finish in the 400 meter dash at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.

In the past three seasons, the men have been ranked in the top five for the award. This is their first top 15 finish in program history.

Coach Daniel Tutskey and his staff are looking forward to what next year will bring as they now will gear up for the 2025-2026 seasons, competing in the North Coast Athletic Conference beginning in the Fall of 2025.
