Blue Streaks Ready To Make Some Noise In 2025 NCAA Tournament
ROCHESTER, New York – It's an exciting time for the Blue Streaks as they are now back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021.

The Blue Streaks will face the Grove City College Wolverines in the first round on Saturday, May 10th at 12:30 PM hosted by St. John Fisher University at Growney Stadium. The winner of this first round matchup will play host St. John Fisher on Sunday, May 11th at 1:00 PM.

The last time these two teams played was at the beginning of the 2025 campaign as the Blue Streaks took home the victory by a score of 16-9. Now, this will be the third game played against each other.

Some key players to watch for JCU will be junior Anna Spitzer. After earning second team All-OAC honors, Spitzer is looking to keep that momentum going as she recorded 25 goals and 25 assists on the season.

Riley Knapp will be another player to keep an eye on as she has been the tone setter for the offense. With a career-high 38 goals this season, Knapp will look to make a push in the postseason. Her 107 draw controls has been an impressive feat for the sophomore out of Cazenovia, New York.

The veteran leader for the Blue Streaks heading into this contest is Olivia Hanulak as she leads the team with 48 goals and a total of 68 points. She earned first team All-OAC honors and in her final year for the program, she will look to make a significant impact.

Last, but not least, Rachel Kroeger has been having a stellar season in the net. Kroeger was named second team All-OAC after her first full season. She heads into the NCAA Tournament with the sixth most saves in the conference and with an 8.82 goals against average.

The John Carroll Women's Lacrosse program is looking for their second NCAA Tournament win in program history. The last time they won a game in the tournament was when they beat University of Wisconsin-River Falls 21-6 in the second round.

Tune in tomorrow afternoon as the Blue Streaks look to keep making history heading to the national stage.
