Dakota Houston Moves On To Her Third Final On Day Two Of The 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – In another wild finish, Dakota Houston continues to make a name for herself. 

After contributing to the women's 4x100 meter relay and securing a spot in the 200 meter dash, Dakota earns herself another opportunity. This time, in the 100 meter dash. 

The Blue Streaks returned for the second day of competition at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Spire Institute.

In the first heat of the women's 100 meter dash, Houston walked away with the victory in a time of 11.79 seconds to earn an automatic spot to the final. 

Dakota will look to become a three-time All-American performer for the Blue Streaks this weekend and help elevate the women to new heights beginning tomorrow. 

The Women's 4x100 Meter Relay of Scott, King, Munchick, and Houston will be the first race to go off for JCU at 1:15 pm (ET). 

Dakota will return for both the 100 and 200 meter dash finals later on in the day. 

The 100 meter dash will take place at 2:40 pm (ET), while the 200 meter dash will go off at 3:50 pm (ET).
