Basheer Alramahi Advances To Saturday's 400 Meter Dash Final At 2:10 pm (ET)

GENEVA, Ohio – After securing a spot in the 4x400 meter final last night, the Blue Streaks continued that momentum heading into the second day of competition.

Junior Basheer Alramahi would make his third consecutive outdoor appearance in the 400 meter dash as it would be the only event on tap for the men this afternoon.

Out of the gate, Basheer placed himself in the mix and made the final for Saturday by placing second overall in his heat and fourth overall in the event, clocking in at 46.75 seconds.

He will now look to earn his second career All-American accolade in the 400 meter dash outdoors.

Last year in 2024, he placed seventh overall with a time of 47.40 seconds in Myrtle Beach.

Basheer will be the first to compete for the men at 2:10 pm (ET).

The Men's 4x400 Meter Relay of Gast, Horner, Tirado, and Alramahi will compete in their respective final at 4:50 pm (ET).
