Madeline Martine Earns NCAC Women's Soccer Athlete Of The Week After Shutout Peformance At Wittenberg

CLEVELAND – The momentum keeps building for the JCU Women's Soccer program.

Madeline Martin is your NCAC Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the first time this season after recording another shutout for the Blue Streaks in their 2-0 win against Wittenberg University this past Saturday, November 1st.

The junior out of NDCL continued to impress for JCU as she made seven saves on 12 shots faced, securing her 10th and seventh shutout victory to help the team secure the NCAC regular season championship with a final regular season record of 11-5-1.

During the 2025 campaign, Madeline has tallied a total of 65 saves with a 0.855 save percentage and will now look to continue her success going into the postseason.

In her last performance against Denison University this past Wednesday, October 29th, she had 10 saves, allowing just one goal.

Martin and the Blue Streaks will be back in action this Thursday, November 6th in the NCAC Semifinal game against Kenyon College at 7:00 pm from Don Shula Stadium.
