Early Lead Disappears For John Carroll As Singles Play Decides Match Against Allegheny

Box Score Things looked good early on for the JCU men's tennis team Saturday afternoon at the Cleveland State University Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.

But after taking a 2-1 lead following doubles play against visiting Allegheny College, the Gators took charge and won five of the six singles matches for a 6-3 win.

Andy Siciliano had a hand in two of the Blue Streaks three wins. He paired up with David Sinense to win at #1 doubles, 8-6. He also produced the lone tally in the win column for singles, winning his #3 match in straight sets.

The other JCU point was courtesy of the #3 tandem of Andrew Triner and Gustavo Garcia, who posted an 8-3 win.

The loss drops the Blue Streaks to 0-2 in dual meets for the season.
