The Blue Streaks finished just a couple strokes back of ONU

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – In a tightly contested tournament, John Carroll Women's Golf went toe-to-toe with the defending Ohio Athletic Conference champions.

But by a couple of strokes, host Ohio Northern held off the Blue Streaks at the Jimmy Hanlin Invitational at Little Mountain Country Club on Monday.

The Blue Streaks finished second with a final team tally of 332-335-667. The tournament came down to the final six holes. While JCU didn't pull it out, the competitiveness of the team is a good sign for early in the fall.
