UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – The John Carroll's Women's Tennis Team add to their incredible 2025 campaign with four student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicator's 2025 Academic All-District Tennis Team.

John Carroll doubled their number of recipients from last year's list, creating a culture of dedication and consistency in and out of the classroom.

The athletes selected were Caroline Chandler, Evelyn Deren, Maddie Kavenagh, and Felicity Kolb. These women show what it takes to succeed as a student and as an athlete across all divisions in the country.

Caroline Chandler, native of Iowa City, Iowa, has been recognized for the second straight year under this honor and is a double-major in Integrated Marketing and Political Science.

Chandler finished the season with an 8-7 record on the season mainly from the #6 spot, which included a 2-1 record in conference play. The senior also finished as an All-OAC Honorable Mention in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as she looks to capture her fourth in a row.

Evelyn Deren, a sophomore from Northville, Michigan, is a double-major in Accounting and Finance and part of the Boler School College of Business. She is a first time recipient for this honor.

The second year ended the season with an 8-7 record splitting her conference play with a record of 2-2, as she played out of the the #2 spot for the majority of the season. In her freshman season, Deren received 2024 First Team All-OAC recognition, setting the bar early in her collegiate career.

Maddie Kavenagh, an Exercise Science major and sophomore from nearby Akron, Ohio, also finished her 2025 campaign in similar fashion.

A first-time recipient of this honor, Kavenaugh capped off her second season with an 8-7 overall record and conference record of 2-2 in singles, as she played her entire season out of the #1 spot.

Kavenaugh and fellow sophomore teammate Evelyn Duren dominated doubles play with a 12-3 overall record out of the #1 spot. The duo finished with winning seven of their last 10 matches as a doubles team.

Felicity Kolb, a native of Batavia, Illinois, has been a great representation of a student athlete for the Blue Streaks as this is her second straight recognition for this honor. Kolb is a chemistry major.

The junior was tied for the second best overall record in singles for John Carroll finishing with an 11-5 record and a conference record of 3-1, playing mainly out of the #3 spot.
