Women's Tennis Fires Past Fighting Muskies, 9-0

ZANESVILLE, Ohio -- The Ohio Athletic Conference opener turned out to be a breeze for John Carroll Women's Tennis.

The Blue Streaks rolled to a 9-0 road victory at the Muskingum Fighting Muskies on Wednesday afternoon.

Megan Reese and Mia Zivkovic did wonderful work as always at the top of the lineup. The No. 1 doubles duo clipped an 8-1 victory to start.

Morgan Little and Caroline Chandler combined for a clear triumph next at the No. 2 doubles spot, 8-0. Jaclyn Voss and Emily Duckett then worked together at the No. 3 doubles position, carrying home an 8-2 win.

Reese continued her winning ways at the No. 1 singles spot, cementing a 6-2, 6-1 win. Zivkovic experienced little trouble at No. 2, penciling in a 6-1, 6-0 final. Little accomplished a double bagel at No. 3, 6-0, 6-0.

Chandler stayed on fire after a good Florida trip, tallying a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 4. Voss authored a 6-3, 6-0 conquest at the No. 5 spot. And finally, Duckett roared for a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6.
