The Blue Streak women kicked off the day honoring their senior class of 2020 made up of Maddie Dolce, Felice Ferrante, Shelbi Shearer, and Emily Yoos.

In the first event of the day, the John Carroll B team in the 200 yard medley relay comprised of Maddie Panus, Monica McKie, Gwyn Ledrick, and Rachel Halapchuk finished first place with a time of 1:52.14. The Blue Streaks A relay team took second place courtesy of all senior team Ferrante, Yoos, Shearer and Dolce.

In the 200 yard freestyle, John Carroll swept the top three honors, leaving no room on the podium for the Yellow Jackets swimmers. Ledrick, who rarely gets to swim a freestyle event, took first, followed by Lauren Spence and Panus with times of 1:57.61, 2:05.15, and 2:05.26.

Ledrick claimed another first place finish in the 200 breaststroke race with a time of 2:27.31.

Lynch also won the 100 Free in 56.10.

Spence, who was second in the 200, provided a rousing win in the 500 Free, coming from behind to place first in 5:32.96.

In the most exciting race of the day, Dolce won the 100 IM in 1:05.90, edging BW's Marissa Kural (1:05.91) and Shearer (1:05.92) in a race where the top three swimmers were separated by .02 of a second.

The Blue Streaks claimed two of the top three spots in the 200 backstroke event. Ferrante finished in second place in the 200 backstroke event posting a time of 2:19.48 minutes and Halapchuck took third place with a time of 2:19.53.

It was a great day for the divers, as all seven scores posted by the JCU women were personal bests. Catherine Steinwachs won the 3-meter competition with a score of 153.60 points.

JCU swept the top three sports in the 400 Free Relay. Ledrick, Halapchuck, Hamilton and Lynch won in a time of  3:47.98, followed by Panus, Ynyra Bohan, Hope Scherger and Tori Vale in 3:54.59, while the "C" relay of Spence, Paige Wnek, Katelin Avenir and Kyleah Gaydoes beat the Baldwin Wallace "A" relay with a time of 3:57.42
