On a Sunday afternoon in Buffalo, New York, the Blue Streaks scored four times in the opening 34 minutes to remove any drama from what became a 4-1 victory over host Medaille College.

Justin LaFountain took the lid off early with a score just two minutes and ten seconds into the match, marking the earliest goal in a game this season for the Blue and Gold.

Medialle tied the match at 1-1 in the 19th minute, but John Carroll answered back less than three minutes later on a Jared Ianiro penalty kick.

Lawrence Cersosimo and Mikey Burrington would follow later in the period with goals of their own to stake JCU a 4-1 halftime lead.

There would be no scoring in the second half as John Carroll substituted liberally. Still, the Blue Streaks rattled off eight shots as part of a 19-6 match advantage in that category.

Connor Robinson made two saves for his first collegiate victory.

John Carroll is now 5-0 marking the second time in three seasons that the Blue Streaks have started off the year with five consecutive victories.
