Box Score The John Carroll men's tennis kept a clean sheet throughout the afternoon, defeating Ohio Northern without dropping a set in an Ohio Athletic Conference regular season match held at the Cleveland State University Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion Saturday.
In winning by a 9-0 score, John Carroll ran its win streak in regular season OAC matches to an impressive 15 consecutive.

It was an especially gratifying day for the middle of the line-up.
Nick Siciliano and
Tyler Cole were electric in both singles and doubles, as the two paired up first to win 8-0 at #2 doubles. Then, in singles play, Siciliano dropped just one game in the #4 match while Cole dropped just two in a straight set win at #5.
The rest of the line-up fared very well also.
Jad Abdul-Aal closed to within one victory of tying Bryan Mohler (1996-99), the school record holder in career wins (120), with his two victories today. He teamed with
David Sinense to win 8-5 over Tim Kargl and Andrew Garcia at #1 doubles in the most competitive match of the day, nd then won easily at #2 singles (6-2, 6-1).
Sinense also won his #3 singles match, 6-4, 6-1.
Freshman
Gustavo Garcia continued his impressive rookie campaign. After joining
Dillon O'Brien for an 8-3 triumph at #3 doubles, he rolled to the lone 6-0 6-0 win of singles action in the #2 match.
JCU is now 4-6 overall and 2-0 in the OAC. Ohio Northern drops to 7-5 and 0-1 in league play.
