Rachael McGrail enters her eighth season as an assistant athletic trainer on the John Carroll University athletic training staff in the 2025-26 school year. McGrail primarily works with the men's lacrosse and football teams.
McGrail works at the Cleveland Clinic, and teaches Nutrition and Current Health Issues at JCU.
She studied and received her undergraduate degree in biology and exercise sports science from Hiram College. She then went onto the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for an MS in Athletic Training.
In her free time, Rachael enjoys playing and refereeing rugby.
