Finished a season-best second place at the Crytzer Invitational (1/7/17) by going 2-1 ... Went 2-2 at both the Findlay Open (11/19/16) and RIT Invitational (12/3/16) ... Went 4-1 and finished a team-best 3rd place at the Citrus Invitational (12/29-30/16) ... Went 3-0 at the Si Ostrach Duals (1/21/17) ... Was the only Blue Streak to claim a win over NDC (2/4/17), where he won by a 4-2 decision.

Competed at 197 lbs ... Finished season with a 6-2 record ... Placed 4th at the RIT Invitational in his only competition of the season ... Was unable to finish the season due to injury.

Wrestled and played football at Fowlerville High School ... Three-time Michigan state placer... Finished 5th at 189 as a senior, 6th at 171 as a junior, and 4th at 171 as a sophomore ... Cadet Freestyle All-American, placed 8th at the 2013 National Tournament at 182 lbs ... Named All-County and All-Conference defense for football ... MVP in both football and wrestling ... Team captain in both football and wrestling.
