Torrey McNeal enters his third season as the head assistant coach of JCU Women’s and Men’s Tennis in the 2025-26 academic year.
In his second season, the Blue Streaks garnered spots in the OAC Tournament on both the men's and the women's sides. JCU Women's Tennis concluded the year as the OAC Tournament Runners-Up. He mentored a total of 9 All-OAC athletes.
In his first campaign, the Blue Streaks clinched spots in the OAC Tournament on both the men's and the women's sides. JCU Men's Tennis finished as the OAC Tournament Runners-Up. He coached a total of 11 All-OAC athletes and the OAC Men's Player of the Year, Logan Langovsky.
Residing in Chagrin Falls with his wife Kelly and two children, Max and Brooke, McNeal brings over 30 years of tennis expertise to the court. For the past 4 years, he has been the Tennis Coach at Kenston High School, leading the Bombers to four consecutive conference titles and securing a top-ten state ranking for three years running.
Prior to his successful tenure at Kenston, McNeal served as the Men's and Women's tennis coach at Hiram College. As a USPTA Elite Pro for three decades, he boasts a rich coaching history, including a decade at The Racquet Club of Boca Raton and the most recent four years at The Wembley Club. McNeal, an alumnus of The University of Toledo, not only earned his bachelor’s degree in business but also competed as a tennis player for the Rockets during his college years.
