Scott Huff

Scott Huff enters his third season as an assistant coach for JCU Women’s and Men’s Tennis in the 2025-26 academic year.  

In his second season, the Blue Streaks garnered spots in the OAC Tournament on both the men's and the women's sides. JCU Women's Tennis concluded the year as the OAC Tournament Runners-Up. He mentored a total of 9 All-OAC athletes. In his first season, the Blue Streaks clinched spots in the OAC Tournament on both the men's and the women's sides. JCU Men's Tennis finished as the OAC Tournament Runners-Up. 

Scott is the owner of River Wealth Management, a Registered Investment Advisory Firm and Yourefolio, a software dedicated to managing estate planning for individuals and professionals.
 
Scott played tennis at the University of Akron and was captain of the Men’s Team in 1994. Scott was a teaching pro at the Tournament Tough Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida under the tutelage of Carlos Goffi, former coach of John McEnroe. After college, he went onto become the Head Coach at Orange High School for 7 years and was selected as Plain Dealer Coach of the Year in 2005. Orange High School is one of the predominant high school tennis programs in the area and produces several college players from each graduating class.  
 
Scott captained the 4.5 USTA team from River Oaks in 2010 that went on to become National Runner-Up. In 2021, Scott was the Head Tennis Coach at Saint Ignatius High School. Scott currently works with his nationally ranked daughter and is looking forward to joining a distinct staff at John Carroll University where his wife is a former team member and graduate.
