Ian McLean enters his fourth season on the staff for JCU Football in the 2025-26 academic year. The senior will work as the team's video coordinator this year.
The Marketing major spent the summer of 2024 with the Cleveland Guardians. McLean worked as a Premium Seat Attendant, helping guests enjoy a special experience at Progressive Field.
McLean hails from Rockton, Illinois. McLean played football for John Caccitore at Boylan Catholic High School, as well as swimming and baseball. He earned six varsity letters. McLean secured a spot on the Honor Roll all four years, earning a Congressional Appointment letter to the US Naval Academy.
McLean chose John Carroll because of the "strong alumni network outside of Cleveland."
