Biography

Naoum will be one of the most experienced members of the Blue Streak team in 2008-09 ... Was 18-14 in the 2007-08 season ... Three-time letterwinner and Three-time placewinner at the OAC Championships during his first three seasons....Earned All-OAC honors in 2007 by reaching the finals of the 125-pound weight class at the OAC Wrestling Championships... Was one of three wrestlers to receive JCU's Most Improved award last year...Placed fourth at the National Catholic Invitational going 4-2 in the process and winning three of those by fall... Finished sixth in his weight class at the RIT Invitational... Earned fifth place with a 3-2 mark at the Florida Citrus Wrestling Open... Led the team with 13 pins on the season ... In 2005-2006 he claimed the 125 pound starting position ... Posted 14 victories in his freshman season … Named the team’s Most Outstanding Freshman in 2006, along with teammate Dan Mizener …Came through with a thrid-place showing at the 2006 OAC Championships... As a senior at Solon High School, finished third at sectionals and finished third at conference tournament … Carried a 3.5 GPA in high school … Is studying Finance and Economics at John Carroll … Member of the Middle Eastern Club and Hip-Hop Club … Advisor of Church Youth Organization... Son of Elias and Claire Naoum.
