Mizener will be a favorite to win the OAC this season ... Had a very successful 2007-08 campaign,as he went 18-8 ... Was OAC tournament runner-up at 149lbs, losing the final match in overtime …Earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference status for the first time in 2007 despite moving up a weight class prior to the championship tournament when he finished second at 157 pounds... At 149 pounds during the regular season, claimed his first collegiate title at the 2006 RIT Invitational ... He also placed fourth at the 2006 RIT Invitational and finished 3rd at the Florida Citrus Open ... Recorded 22 vistories on the season and was one of three wrestlers to receive JCU's Most Improved award last ...For his efforts in the 2005-2006 season he was named the team’s Most Outstanding Freshman, along with fellow-classmate Elie Naoum … Collected eleven victories in his freshman campaign … Wrestled at Mason High School for coach William Mason … Cadet Greco state champion … Finished seventh at Division state championships … Was 40-6 during his senior year at Mason … Majors in Communications at John Carroll … Carries a 3.3 grade point average ...
