Women’s Track & Field Slated Second In NCAC Pre-Championships Poll

CLEVELAND – Postseason racing is just around the corner as the North Coast Athletic Conference has released the pre-championships poll for women's track & field. 

The women will enter the 2026 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships ranked second with a total of 59 points with four first place votes. 

In first place is Ohio Wesleyan University with 60 points; also claiming four first place votes. 

Rounding up the top three is DePauw University with 49 points. 

Finishing out the conference in the poll are Wittenberg (40), Denison (31), Kenyon (25), Oberlin (16), and Wooster (8). 

The Blue Streaks will look to finish the regular season off on a high note before going into championship competition with lots to look forward to including competing in their first ever NCAC Championship meet. 

With just one week remaining until the conference championships, the Blue Streaks will return to the track this Friday, February 20th for the Ed Finnigan Invitational hosted by Case Western Reserve University.
