The Blue Streaks beat Baldwin Wallace for the second time in three days.
Box Score UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – Just two days after confronting Baldwin Wallace in Berea, John Carroll Women's Tennis welcomed the Yellow Jackets to the Short Family Tennis Center.

Just like the regular-season match, the Blue Streaks took care of business in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Quarterfinal showdown.

The Blue Streaks dominated to the tune of a 5-0 victory, advancing to Friday's semifinal at Ohio Northern.

The hosts fired out to a quick doubles sweep.

Madeline Kavenagh and Evelyn Deren did even better work than on Sunday, easing into an 8-0 victory for starters at No. 1 doubles. Peyton Crumpler and Kayley Gimbel were the next to get on the board with a similarly impressive 8-0 conquest at No. 3.

The final doubles match to finish, No. 2, completed the JCU sweep. Sarah Sgambati and Felicity Kolb opened with a 2-1 deficit but responded well, ending up with an 8-2 conquest.

Kavenagh got the first singles win, 6-1, 6-0 to send the Yellow Jackets to the brink.

And for the match-clinching conquest, Gimbel got the job done at No. 5. The JCU star punched a 6-1, 6-0 victory to send the Blue Streaks to the OAC Tournament Semifinal.
