Men's Tennis Best Mount Union in Road Rivalry Match

Box Score ALLIANCE, Ohio -- John Carroll University Men's Tennis took care of business once again on Sunday, as they defeated Mount Union in Alliance by a score of 8-1.

This marks the eighth win in a row against the Purple Raiders, dating all the way back to the spring of 2017.

The Blue Streaks won all three doubles matches, with Andy Siciliano and Mark Beebe leading the way with an 8-3 victory in one doubles.

Adi Jha and Logan Langovsky were victorious in two doubles, 8-2. Andrew Triner and Doug Moore also won 8-2 in three doubles.

In the singles stanza, Siciliano won a tight first set 7-6 but came away big in the second 6-1 in his #1 spot.

Longavsky dominated 6-0, 6-1 in No. 2 singles while Beebe defeated Avery Clouse 6-2, 6-1 in No. 3 singles.

In a back and forth No. 4 singles match, Triner lost in three sets to Colton Mace. Mace beat Triner 6-4 in the first set, but the senior roared back and won the second 6-3. Mace then closed it out and took the third 10-8.

Jha won at No. 5 6-3, 6-3 and Alvardo Estrada Rosabel defeated Max Rosedale 6-2, 6-1 at No. 6.

JCU heads to 5-0 on the season and will get a week off before facing Baldwin Wallace next Wednesday, April 28.
