Box Score John Carroll continued its busy week with its fourth match in six days, but the increased work load does not seem to be slowing down the Blue Streaks much.

With a sweep of singles play, JCU downed its crosstown and conference rival Baldwin Wallace by a score of 8-1 at the Pop Collins Courts in Berea, Ohio

The most significant triumph of the day belonged to Lauren O'Malley. Not only did the John Carroll junior defeat Jayde Robinson 6-0, 6-0, but she also tied the program record for most career victories with her 68th win. That ties Lauren Castagnero, who won 68 times from 2002-2006, for the all-time lead in singles victories at JCU.

Madisyn Rini, Nicolette Bourlas, Molly Traverso, Allyssa Krupp and Natalie Bourlas all won in straight sets playing #2 through #6 singles, respectively.

With the win, John Carroll is now 10-5 overall and 4-0 in the OAC. The Blue Streaks have won 23 consecutive OAC regular season matches dating back to a 6-3 loss to Ohio Northern on April 17, 2015.

JCU will host Ohio Northern on Saturday, April 14, at a time and site to be determined with regard to weather.
