The John Carroll men's soccer team came up short in their 104-minute overtime matchup against the Capital Crusaders, dropping a 1-0 decision in Bexley on Saturday night.
John Carroll had their fair share of opportunities to score, outshooting Capital 18-12 over the course of the night.
In goal,
Liam McIntosh managed to hold the Crusader offense at bay for a majority of the match, recording three saves in addition to posting a shutout through regulation and the first overtime period. Â
With the loss, the Blue Streaks now stand at 6-4-1 (2-1-0 OAC) on the season.
John Carroll will next travel to Westerville on Wednesday, October 10th to continue conference play against the Cardinals of Otterbein University. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.Â
