John Carroll has been on the road travelling long distances for two consecutive weekends.
It appears the travels may have caught up with the Blue Streaks a bit.
A slow start doomed JCU Sunday in Hanover, Indiana, as the host Hanover Panthers prevailed by a 2-0 score in a non-conference match-up staged at the HC Athletic Complex.
The Panthers, who outshot the Blue Streaks 10-1 in the opening 45 minutes, scored one goal in each half to win its first match of the 2016 campaign in three tries.
JCU would rally and win the shot the battle in the second half (9-7), but could not dent the scoreboard.
Rhianna Guarnera made eight saves for John Carroll.
The Blue Streaks are now 1-3-1 this season.
