John Carroll entered play on Saturday  needing a few wins and some help to jump back into the OAC playoff race.
After being swept by Muskingum in New Concord, they will need more than a little help to make the postseason tournament.
The Blue Streaks dropped both games, 10-2, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon.

GAME ONE
Muskingum defeated JCU in five innings, 10-2 in game one.
Hannah Mizener and Alyssa Coleman each recorded two hits, with Coleman and Christie Wade driving in a run. AnnMarie Kirchner pitched three innings, allowing six runs. Kayla Navratil allowed three runs in 1 ? innings of relief.
Fallon Gawry was 4-for-4 for Muskingum, including a double and 4 RBI. Sarah Browning improves to 6-4 with a five inning complete effort.
Muskingum scored two in the first, three in the second and four in the bottom of the fifth to end the game. Gawry's RBI single was the final blow.

GAME TWO
Muskingum struck first with two runs in the first inning, and that was all the Muskies needed, winning 4-1 in game two.
Brianna Lach allowed four runs in five innings, falling to 4-6 on the season.
The Blue Streaks had trouble against  Rachel Eberling (7-8), managing one hit in six innings. JCU put two on with hits in the seventh, but Kristin Gill slammed the door for her first save.
JCU managed their only run in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly by Mizener. Coleman, Wade and Lindsay McKnight each recorded a hit.
Next up for JCU is a Sunday doubleheader with DePauw at Bracken Field on Apr. 24.
