The 2-0 defeat of Muskingum University on Friday, Oct. 28 cemented John Carroll with the OAC regular season title. This is the 10
th OAC regular season title in program history for the Blue Streaks and the second under head coach
Hector Marinaro.

JCU will finish the regular season with an 11-5-2 overall record that included a conference best 8-0-1 record in the OAC. The lone blemish on the conference record comes in the form of a 1-1 draw with nationally ranked Ohio Northern University.

John Carroll came into the match with the Fightin' Muskies will the ability to control their own destiny, and control it they did.

The first half of play failed to produce a goal from either side, pushing both teams into the halftime period at the same score line they started with. Any ailments of no scoring were quickly relieved by the visiting Blue Streaks in the second half.Â

Dalton Browsky continued his scoring streak with the opening tally of the match in the 55th minute.
Hayden Parente was credited with the assist that gave the Blue Streaks a 1-0 lead in the early moments of the second half.

Second half play would was dictated by midfield play for the majority of the second half. It would take until late in the regulation time for JCU to cement the victory.

Alan Rajkovic 85th minute goal.
Chad Kanakkanatt provided the assistance on the goal that gave John Carroll a 2-0 lead. Rajkovic's goal was the first of his collegiate career.

Liam McIntosh dominated between the pipes for the Blue Streaks. The sophomore stopped the only two shots put on goal from the hosting Fightin' Muskies to secure the clean sheet. McIntosh has manufactured six clean sheets on the year, including four in OAC play.

With that impressive mark in the conference, John Carroll takes home the OAC regular season title for the 10
th time in program history, with the most recent instance coming in 2014.
