With the win John Carroll improves to 11-6, 6-1 OAC. The win secured the first second-place OAC finish for the Blue Streaks since 2012. Baldwin Wallace fell to 5-17, 4-4 OAC.

John Carroll quickly picked up three points in doubles play. The duo of
Katherine Devine and
Tracy Gibson pitched an 8-0 shutout at No. 3.
Nicolette Bourlas and twin sister
Natalie Bourlas posted an 8-3 win at No. 1.
Jennifer Stroyne and
Catherine Engel won 8-3 at No. 2.

John Carroll did not drop a set in singles play.

The back of the lineup was golden as Gibson (No. 5, 6-0, 6-1) and
Natalie Bourlas (No. 6, 6-0, 6-0) only dropped one game between them. Engel would only drop one game en route to cruising to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3.

JCU's sweep would be rounded out by
Nicolette Bourlas (6-4, 6-1), Stroyne (7-6, 7-5) and Devine (6-2, 6-4).

John Carroll closes out the regular season against Marietta on Saturday, April 25. Due to the weather the match will take place at Paramount Tennis Center in Medina, Ohio.
