Alex Guthrie picked up JCU's lone win of the match. Guthrie topped Callan Louis 7-5, 2-6, 10-3 at No. 3 singles.
Oberlin cruised to wins at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles. The duo of
Scott Adsit and
Dillon O'Brien battled hard before dropping an 8-6 decision to Abraham Davis and Billy Lennon.
Oberlin held John Carroll's singles lineup to four or fewer games won in four matches.
Kyle Mollison was the lone singles player who dropped his match to win more than four games. Mollison would fall 6-2, 7-5 at the No. 2 position.
The men's tennis team travels to Muskingum on Saturday, March 21.
