Men's Tennis Drops First Conference Match Of Season At Otterbein

With its perfect OAC record still intact the John Carroll University men's tennis team knew it would face another tough test in Otterbein on Saturday afternoon in Westerville, Ohio.

The Cardinals would snap the Blue Streaks' perfect OAC mark with the 7-2 win. Otterbein improved to 11-4, 4-1 OAC while John Carroll fell to 7-8, 4-1 OAC.
Jad Abdul-Aal won both his singles and doubles matches for the Blue Streaks. The freshman defeated Will Wilson 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles. Wilson entered the day with a 13-1 singles record.

Abdul-Aal and freshman Nick Siciliano got back on track in doubles play. The No. 2 doubles unit for the Blue Streaks had their 11-match win streak snapped on Wednesday against Baldwin Wallace. The duo topped Ryan Shutt and Zach McDivitt 8-4.

Sean Graham and Kyle Mollison battled hard at first singles but fell 8-6.

The men's tennis team faces a quick turnaround with a contest at Capital on Sunday, April 13.
