Adding sweeps of Sage and Mount Aloysius on Sunday to a pair of sweeps over Keystone and the host school from
Saturday, the John Carroll volleyball team left the Scranton Invitational with the team champion trophy.
JCU rolled past Sage 25-20, 25-21, 25-10, and then concluded the two-day tournament by dispatching of Mount Aloysius 25-12, 25-6, 25-12.
By sweeping all four opponents, John Carroll has started a season 4-0 for the first time since 2010.
As an added bonus to the weekend, Sarah Orlandi, Sara Kaminski and Kit O'Shaughnessy were named to all-tournament team at the Scranton Invitational.
