On Monday afternoon in Shaker Heights, the Blue Streaks sent Capital University home with a 9-0 victory to mark their third shutout of an Ohio Athletic Conference opponent in as many outings.

While there is deservedly much praise to go around,
Catherine Engel,
Kyle Cousineau,
Anna Stein, and
Tracy Gibson each won twice against the Crusaders (singles + doubles). Engel dropped her opponent, 6-1, 6-1, at #1 doubles, while Stein did not lose a point in a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at #2 singles.
Hannah Baumwell (6-4, 6-1) recorded a win at #5 singles and
Emily Gorndt (#6) closed things out as a victor, 6-0, 6-1.
At #3 doubles,
Corinne Hendrock and
Katelyn Hill stopped Capital by an 8-2 margin.
The win puts JCU's win streak at three and runs the Blue & Gold's season record to 6-9 overall, 4-4 in the OAC.
