John Carroll received victories from only its #5 and #6 singles players on Saturday afternoon at Oberlin's Heisman Field House, falling 7-2 to Oberlin College.

It was Hannah Baumwell and Emily Gorndt putting the Blue Streaks in the win column, as the Yeowomen swept the match's doubles bouts and No. 1 - No. 4 in singles play.

Baumwell got JCU on the board with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at #5 singles, in addition to Gorndt's 6-4, 6-1 decision at #6.

The loss drops the Blue & Gold to 2-3 in 2013.  They will return to action on March 23 when they travel to Ada, Ohio to do battle with Ohio Northern University.
