David Sved and Drew Edson were multiple-event winners that helped keep the Blue Streaks in it.  Sved won the 50 Free, 100 Free, and was part of the 200 Free Relay team that bested two BW quartets.

Edson defeated teammate Nick Holvey (second place) and the rest of the field in the 200 Free, before blowing away his competition with a 14-second win in the 500 Free. He was also part of the triumphant 200 Free Relay team, along with Holvey and Zach Morris.

Nick Bockanic was a top finisher for John Carroll, doing so with a time of 59.33 in the 100 Back, while Holvey nabbed an individual win in the 100 Butterfly.

Freshman Jacob Crain posted a pair of second place finishes (200 IM, 100 Butterfly) to provide additional support.

The next time JCU will take to the pool will be at the University of Akron for the 2013 OAC Championships on February 14-16.
