John Carroll, which has not won a road match in league play since October 9, 2010, simply could not get any significant offense generated against the perenially powerful Heidelberg squad. The 'Berg finished with 41 kills compared to 20 for John Carroll.
The Blue Streaks (10-18, 0-8 OAC) were paced by 15 assists from jessica Kodrich, while
Sara Kaminski contributed 13 digs.
Heidelberg (17-11, 6-2 OAC) had three players with ten kills, all of whom benefitted from 26 assists by Rachel Ferguson.
