Kayla Acklin and the JCU defense kept an opponent off the scoreboard for the fourth time in 2010
The good news coming out of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, Tuesday evening as far as John Carroll women's soccer was concerned was a fourth shutout in the last five matches.
The not-so-good news, however, was despite posting this shutout, no win would be attached as the Blue Streaks and host Westminster Titans played to a 0-0 draw.
Box Score
The two teams pounded out 30 shots combined -- 17 by Westminster and 13 by JCU -- but none found their intended target.
Molly Gradowski made eight saves for her third shutout of 2010 and the 11th of her career.
John Carroll, which is 3-1-1 in its last five matches after an 0-3 start, stands at 3-4-1 following the tie, while Westminster's record moves to 4-2-1.
