A timely goal by Kevin McKamish in the final ten minutes sealed JCU's win over Buffalo State
Three goals in the first half and a timely tally in the second lifted the John Carroll men's soccer team to a 4-2 victory over Buffalo State in the opening round of the Clarion Hotel Soccer Classic Friday night in Fredonia, New York.

JCU was stunned early in the second period when, despite outshooting Buffalo State by a whopping 14-2 margin in the opening 45 minutes, surrendered a pair of goals in the first seven minutes of the latter half.

Kevin McKamish tallied his first collegiate goal with just over nine minutes to play to end the drama.
JCU finished the game with a 35-5 shot advantage and a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.
The Blue Streaks are now 2-1 on the year.
