Undefeated Wooster scored early in each half, and made those two goals stand up as John Carroll was unable to put a blemish on the Fighting Scots record in falling, 2-0, Wednesday afternoon in Wooster, Ohio.

Nora Simon tallied the first score when her shot was redirected on a deflection in the ninth minute. Paige Piper would score the other goal for Wooster in the 50th minute when she finished off a crossing pass.

JCU was outshot 17-9 as it fell to 2-5-1 on the year and suffered its first shutout of 2009. Wooster improved to 7-0-2.
