In what was the final home meet and the final regular season meet of the 2007-08 season for John Carroll, The Blue Streaks were hoping to send seniors Dave Calabria, Ehren Eschmann and Thomas O'Flaherty out on a winning note.

After Baldwin-Wallace won the opening 200 Medley Relay, JCU countered with a Thomas Barden victory in the 1000 Free. His time of 11:11.60 was a full ten seconds ahead of the next competitor.

Nicholas Grady followed suit with an impressive victory in the 200 Free, posting a winning time of 1:51.33. After three events, Baldwin-Wallace held a slim 28-27 advantage.

The depth of the Yellow Jackets would begin to take over. Five consecutive victories, including one in 1-meter diving by national qualifier Todd Richert, would extend the Yellow Jackets' lead to 94-55.

John Carroll would close well, but it would be too little too late. Freshman Max Wilberding and Eschmann would finish first (59.34) and second (1:00.50), respectively, in the 100 Back. The Blue Streaks also won the final race of the day, the 200 Free Relay. Eschmann, David Perchinske, Wilberding and Grady teamed up for a solid victory in a time of 1:31.52.

The loss drops John Carroll's record to 1-8 in dual meets and 1-3 in the OAC.
