Mark Fino is in his seventh season as the head coach of the men's and women's swimming & diving program at John Carroll University coming off three consecutive sweeps of the Ohio Athletic Conference championship crowns.

Before Carroll
Fino was as an assistant coach at Oberlin in 2002. He was elevated to the position of head women's coach in 2004, and then was tabbed to lead both the men's and women's programs beginning in 2006.
Over the course of his tenure, Fino became the all-time leader in career dual meet wins in women's swimming & diving at Oberlin, establishing program high water marks for best finish and most points scored at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.
Both the Yeomen and Yeowomen rewrote over 70 school records since Fino took over the programs, and in five of the last six years, he has had at least one student-athlete achieve an NCAA qualifying time or score.
Personal
Fino and his wife Veronica have two sons, Jonathan and Nicholas, and reside in University Heights.Â
